Looks rusty outside but amazingly the room was clean and cozy. We had a good quiet sleep last week when we visited Acadia. Its nice to be away from the crowd. The owner were so nice and accommodating.
Down side, no mini fridge in the rooms to store food stuff.
I would stay there again if we were ever in Ellsworth!
This is the second time my boyfriend and I have stayed here and we will be back again. The couple who owns this place is kind, wonderful, and beyond dedicated to their motel. They have a Continental breakfast available every morning, a tea/coffee/hot chocolate station available from 7:30a to 10PM, and are always happy to share their favorite eatery recommendations, local places to check out, and things to do as late as 10 at night! The rooms are cozy, clean, and colorfully decorated. A lot of thought and heart has been put into this place and if you're looking for a place local to Acadia park with rustic Maine charm for a great price, this is the place to be :)
The owners are great, they really care about their customers experience. It's a cute place with its own unique personality. The owners were helpful when I unexpectedly had to end my stay early.
Nice cute hotel. Clean, comfy and air conditioned. Little outdated, but livable. In a good area, not too far from Acadia. Staff is very personal and nice. The plumbing however, in the west wing could use some work, as the showers are tiny, low pressure, and get scorching hot and ice cold at random points. Overall, a good stay for people who only need a bed and a bathroom to travel the park.
Friendly people.... Good Breakfast....the only problem I felt was the pillow case was not changed.... Room as well as the toilet was clean.... Acadia National Park is 17 miles away from twilight....
