We've never been disappointed when staying at a Hampton Inn. Clean and comfortable. Linda in charge of breakfast area was friendly and served a yummy meal.
I never complain about a bed, but my stay here was a little rough due to the bed feeling like sleeping on plywood. The staff are friendly and the place is well kept. Close proximity to hospitals and Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park was a big plus. The surrounding area is gorgeous but the views here are of a strip mall.
The room was clean and convenient location to Bar Harbor and drive up the Maine coast to Roque Bluffs and Machias. The thing that puzzled us was the remodeled bathroom counter top/sink and the size of the TV. The bathroom sink and counter was so high you need to be 6 feet tall in order to use it. Our room was spacious with a king size bed but the small TV was so far away to view, had to get up and up close to read the guide.. They could use a larger screen TV.
Breakfast is wonderful, great selection, and kid friendly. Room and pool were perfect! Super clean

Fantastic value! Location is 20 minutes away from Acadia National Park and 5 minutes away from the cute downtown of Ellsworth. Highly recommend staying here. Rooms are large, newly furnished, and spacious.
