It's a traditional loading dock for boats. It's kind of nice, there is a gazebo for musical concerts and such. There are a few picnic tables and rest rooms. Considering it is the only place on the water in the city of Ellsworth, it would be nice if it was more attractive and offered a bit of a cultural feel. It is nice when there are seals frolicking in the water, and you catch a glimpse of a bald eagle or a heron.
Just a peaceful place to relax and to enjoy a great picnic lunch at one of many tables.

This place is so beautiful, my daughter and I go there to have our picnic lunches when we are in town.

The have free concerts here during the summer. Great place to relax with your community - bring a picnic dinner if you like. You can also get pizza at Mike's Country Store right now the street. They have gluten free as well.

This is a such an amazing park. Boats most and leave from there. Bands play at schedule times. Good place to watch birds.
