Great food, great service, great prices! All in a classic diner setting what more could you ask for? And they have the best pancakes in the city!
Wow! Best Hash Benedict I've ever had. When we went it was extremely busy but still were seated and got food quickly. Everything else the group ordered looked great as well, but that hash was something else.
Excellent biscuits and gravy. Good coffee. Fast service. No credit cards. This a fantastic hole-in-the-wall diner. Go. Enjoy!
This IS the place for a breakfast meal. The omelets are just wonderful and despite Martha's infectious laugh (or because of it), you'll feel right at home. Although it's often full, turnover is fast so you're not likely to wait more than just a few minutes (if that). CASH ONLY, so be prepared, but it's worth it to take the time to stop at a nearby ATM for this food. The blackboard menus always look SOOOOOooooo tempting but I can't get away from their egg dishes. Oh, and have I mentioned the side of ham? You will ABSOLUTELY not regret that. I get it every single time I'm there.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for old school diners. Red vinyl booths, food served on plastic plates, cash only, nothing fancy. Portions are big, food is delicious, staff know their stuff and are quick. Perfection!
Get the blueberry jam. It's not homemade here, but it is local and apparently available to buy at Hannaford the waitress told us
